dc.description.abstract | During an epidemic of jaundice in Eastern Nigeria infection with Zika virus was shown to have occurred in three patients, one by isolation of the virus and two by a rise in serum antibodies. Two of these patients gave evidence of liver damage. Serological studies indicate a relationship between jaundice and the development of virus neutralizing bodies in the serum. | en_US |
