Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) is highly contagious. It may rapidly progress to acute respiratory distress syndrome and result in multiorgan dysfunction or death in some cases. Here, we report the case of a patient with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who underwent liver transplantation and experienced COVID‐19 infection during the perioperative period. This case may help clinicians by alerting them to potential COVID‐19 infection in transplant recipients during the outbreak.en_US
